Starting the Design Process

Ok, so you know there is some form of structure you may want. This could be perhaps several columns, headers, footers, multiple text boxes, scrolling text boxes, etc.

Now you need to think just a little about any specific design elements you may have in mind. Is there a certain type of font you prefer, favorite colors you would like to use, a certain style menu, do you have any buttons you just GOT to have on your site?

How about the page background? There are all types of backgrounds that can be used. It all depends on the type of client you wish to attract and/or the purpose of your website.
